Niño and the Movement Mindset
Forward.
A journey of 15 years of fitness in the pursuit of speed, strength, and endurance has led to the Movement Mindset. My quest is never ending, a humble pursuit of mental and physical performance. Over the years, my revelations have come through the long hours grinding away at the weights, running through the trails and on endless roads. These are lessons learned through team and individual sports, close to a decade of personal training, adventures on different continents, and a healthy appetite for knowledge.
The Movement Mindset is a culmination of ideas that I am incorporating into a broader concept. This is the idea that our mental mindsets are inextricably linked to our physical mechanics. Our emotional states are connected to our capacity for motion, both of which are uniquely human. I’ve learned that “health and wellness” is more than the science of anatomy and physiology, or the philosophies of mindfulness and meditation.
Movement Mindset is about creating your own terrain, exploring what paradigms and principles shape your world view. This is a dynamic practice, one that you refine along the way. My goal is to help you reach your mental and physical goals, opening up your ability to adapt to new ideas and stimulus.
This is the philosophy behind Movement Mindset. See the focus for areas which we address in training.
